All these companies sell soapmaking supplies, though their stock and specialties vary widely. I have not personally dealt with more than a few of them, so this is a "Yellow Pages" list, not a list of recommended suppliers. To make the list more manageable, I'm including only companies that are in English-speaking countries and that can be found online.
In the case of companies that sell mostly candlemaking supplies, be careful that fragrances are skin safe. Not all candle fragrances are acceptable for soap.
In addition to listings on this site, you may find soapmaking oils at local restaurant supply stores, "big box" stores, supermarkets, and health food stores.
This is a perpetual work-in-progress, so suggestions for suppliers I haven't yet found are most welcome! To suggest a supplier, please use my contact form.
Only vendors with no web site have address and phone listings. If you want a vendor's contact information, it can be found on their web site.
NOTE TO SUPPLIERS: If you'd like me to add a few words to describe your stock or specialty, please use my contact form. What I will post is a maximum of 12 words that are names of objects, for example, "soap molds" or "essential oils." No advertising language, just a few words to let customers know what kind of products you carry. You would be responsible for letting me know if your stock changes. If you sell more than a dozen different types of products, I'll post "general soapmaking supplies" or other such phrase at your request.
